Our 1/2 day fun and educational camp has been created specifically for those bigger kids who are ready for more musical learning!
There will be drumming and singing fun, musical games, inspired animal crafts, leadership games and more!
Dates: July 7-11th 2025 (5 days and avoiding Canada Day)
Time: 9am-12:00pm daily (Drop and go!)
Location: St Cuthberts Anglican Church, Oakhill Drive, Oakville
2025 Camp Fee: First Child - $299.99, Siblings - $269.99
At camp, we will:
- have a 45 minute Rhythm Kids® class and additional community drumming session every day
- learn about djembe drumming and community music-making
- learn about the Rhythm Kids® animal of the season
- learn about our RK Animals' geographic location and culture
- make crafts & play games to support our music and geographic learning.
- engage in dramatic play to learn about our Rhythm Kids® animal
Each family will receive their own Rhythm Kids® Songbook and music (CD/Digital Downloads) for our summer music collection, as well as our usual Rhythm Kids learning materials and crafts (designed specially for our Rhythm Kid summer campers!)
Please note once your child is registered we will send you our CAMP FORM to complete to give us more information about your child and anything we should be aware of i.e. food allergies, special needs etc.
Early drop off is available from 08:30 for an additional fee.
All campers are asked to bring a nut-free snack, water bottle, sun hat and inside shoes/socks to camp.
Previous Rhythm Kids® are asked to bring their djembe to camp with them each day. Campers new to Rhythm Kids® will have a djembe provided for them to use during camp!
